On Saturday, September 22nd, at 6:00pm Stonington Harbor Yacht Club will host an Education Event on the ten-year anniversary of the 2008 Financial Crisis to discuss what has been learned and how investors can prepare for the future. The panel discussion will feature; Tom Baxter: who at the time was the General Counsel at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the architect of many of the measures taken by the Federal Reserve, Charles Gray: who was a lawyer at Federal Reserve Bank of New York and subsequently the United States Treasury, andMichael Wiseman who represented AIG, Goldman Sachs, UBS, and Barclays. There will be a special $24 per person buffet dinner following the presentation. The cost to attend the education event is $5 for members of SHYC/ $10 for non-members.
